Our message for Goliat Tabuni

April 10, 2015

This is a message  found in a note  belonging to Oya, a former follower of Goliat Tabuni. “I am one of the 23 people who returned to the right path, the path of  Papua May 1st.  Once day in a discussion, we have heard  that Goliat Tabuni expressed his desire return to Papua’s May 1st as Messet did. That’s what led to our bravery started and began to realize, so we and other friends are going to surrender.  We have been tired to follow Goliat Tabuni’s idea. We have lost our jobs and our children also have lost their future. Therefore, I pray Goliath Tabuni back to the Papua’s May 1st, and we believed that could happend.  Only with Indonesia, Papua’s properity and peace will come.”.

Poor Wenda’s followers

June 20, 2013

What Benny Wenda has been done will be the same as what the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Free Papua Movement Nick Messet’s effort  in the past. Wenda’s effort will fail to acquire the approval or support from international world.  If the international community had previously received,  it would have been got during the Nesset era.  The fact that what had been built by Messet such as the establishment of OPM offices, one  was in Senegal in 1975 and another was in Sweden in 1992 , just made enmity among Papua people.   The reason was the OPM  statement on freedom and liberty was  all fake, so  it would  only make miserable their followers.

That’s way, OPM old generation acknowledged that Benny Wenda’s future followers is lost because it was lulled by gentle persuasion Benny Wenda.  Currently what should be doneby the followers of Benny Wenda are coming back to the correct path that is to accept the Papua special autonomy and participate in the development of Papua under the  Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.  Let’s see until now, international  world will remain and  continue to recognize Papua as a part of Indonesia.

Mummi in Papua Province

August 24, 2010

Mummi  not only exists in Egypt, but also in Papua province. Papuan mummi  is made by evaporating its human body fluids so it becomes a dry, hard, and rigid body.  In this process, it  is not required ingredients or preservatives.  Dani tribe’s mummi called “Hun” means spirit, that is believed to protect and bring a blessing for its future generations.Someone can be mummi  if during his/her lifetime was very popular such as a head or warlord. Preservation remains to be done as a tribute to charismatic figure mummi.

Prosess of mummi can only be done by couple (a husband and a wife). Husband’s duty is to complete preservation, starting from preparing wood  until  heating a dead body, while wife’task is to prepare food for his husband.  A man uses sharp wood to puncture dead body until all fluids out of the body.
